Tattoo's are applied using standard tattoo equipment just like a permanent tattoo and can last up to 2 years. The time it takes to fade is dependent on your bodies ability to break down the ink. 95% of ephemeral tattoo's fade within the first 2 years. Our ink breaks down and is naturally removed from the body at a non-linear rate, which means the fade may be faster initially and appear slower later.

Ephemeral ink was founded in 2014, USA by university students studying at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. The formulation was tested vigorously before being FDA approved. Since then, it has been marked by significant achievements and continuous innovation. In 2021 they opened they first studio in Brooklyn NY, they now have studios and artist across the USA with a community of 20,000 strong.
